I’m tired of virtually spending life through a lit screen,
suffocated by the idiocy of modern social ruling.
With unneeded access to limitless examples of stupidity.
Eyes rimmed in sleep deprivation
battered violet by chances lost for the sake of what feels to be nothing.
Users
filled to the brim with unsourced opinions
and illogical senses of justice diluted by pity
for those unworthy of attention.
Mended minds are wasted,
idealists and dreamers lost in a listless murmur of illiterate fucks.
Sexualization is preferred over actual productivity percentages.
Pathetically disgusting,
belching their broken language unto abused keyboards.
Voicing their fabled misfortunes
in exchange for pity pennies
or digitized thumbs in falsified support to those
in agreement that will not stretch
outside their online crusades.
Tired of the increased dependency on social media
methodizing temporary mockeries of a nearly out of reach career.
Repulsed
that self-respect and wishes of true human interactions
instead of competing in the rat race of boasting and displays of losing normal functions,
has been completely severed us from most we once knew.
All because of a so-called book of faces.
I cringe that it claims ‘book’.
A good selection of the human race is inexplicably entranced
by the lifestyle of ‘talking’ without uttering a single spoken word.
Elastic smiles of
irony
as it is crudely bittersweet
in cases like this
when the victims are countless,
and in constant redirection.
They’re lacking introspection.
Ravage the desks of pseudo-businessmen and empty their files out an open window
fearing  the pages will be blank.
Signed in an ominous bat of an eye
that is redirected to a computer screen,
in a life scored by the click-clacks of keys strummed by lost musicians.
Redirect, redirect, redirect.
The intellectuals are disappearing into flurries of laze induced abbreviations,
except for those who still stand battle brushed amongst
the elite nicknamed kings and queens for being dreamers,
seeking refuge between tapped letters
in hopes of turning off the power in the face of real presence of sanction.
Snip the cables from our spinal cords.
Magnetize our minds.
I’d rather pray for electric sheep than condone social abandonment.
Merely vent wrote my rage and moral rivalry towards websites such as facebook (in which case I do not have an account there) the other night.
It's been a while since I've tried writing out my thoughts in laughable attempts at free verse.

I have an account on facebook that I barely use. It's only to keep in contact with certain people that would help me later in my career. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't bother having one.

Yeah, I can see having it for that sort of usage. I have a friend or two that only uses it for that.
